Valve Vs Blizzard For The DotA Brand

During the last months, Blizzard has tried to obtain the DotA brand name for their own. This was against Valve, the company that is currently developing DotA 2.
So the final decision was that Blizzard will keep their “DotA” brand for the non-commercial DotA map developed by Icefrog (Warcraft 3) while Valve can keep their brand for their DotA 2.
Those who follow Blizzard’s news are familiar with the fact that they are developing their own Moba (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena Games) video game. Their new game will be named Blizzard AllStars and will feature most of the well known characters from Blizzard’s games, from Starcraft, Diablo, Warcraft universes.
